For under-represented community

Thanks to a generous member donor (who wishes to remain anonymous), the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SCBWI is offering a Letters and Lines conference grant to a writer or illustrator who resides in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado or Wyoming) and identifies as a marginalized creator.

The grant covers:

  • full tuition for one or both days of the conference
  • a manuscript critique or portfolio review if desired
  • a conference intensive if desired

You do not have to be a member of SCBWI to receive this grant. However, if you are not a member, a complimentary one-year membership to SCBWI will be provided in addition to the grant.

The grant covers:

  • full tuition for one or both days of the conference
  • a manuscript critique or portfolio review if desired
  • a conference intensive, if desired
  • hotel lodging near the conference venue

You must be a member of SCBWI who resides in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado or Wyoming) to receive this grant.

RMC Chapter Grant and The Wandering Jellyfish Grant

For need-based

Thanks to the Wandering Jellyfish bookstore and generous members who donated to this grant fund during last year’s Letters and Lines registration, the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SCBWI is pleased to offer conference grants to two creators who identify as having a financial need. A total of three grants will be awarded, two from the RMC Chapter and one from The Wandering Jellyfish.

This grant provides a $250 discount on conference registration.

Grant recipients must be members of SCBWI who reside in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado or Wyoming).
